Welcome to Faux Fae Studio, home of hand crafted fairy folk and curiosities!
Inspired by Dark Academia, this cloche encapsulates a moment in time. What are they reading by candlelight? What was so imperitive that it could not wait until daylight? Why do they have a skull in their study? So many questions, maybe you can be the one to answer?
Each glass globe houses a hand painted skull, which has been aged. The skull rests upon a stack of books which have been haphazardly stacked while the velvet desktop and doiley adds a touch of richness. A handmade Victorian style chamberstick completes the scene.
Every item is hand made or customised by myself in my little studio on the Kent coast. As I'm sure you can appreciate, the glass cloches are very difficult to photograph without glare. So I have taken photos without the glass to give you a clear representation of what the item actually looks like with the naked eye.
My items are to be enjoyed for display purposes only. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE TO YOUNG CHILDREN, OR ANYONE WHO MAY NOT HAVE THE CAPACITY TO UNDERSTAND THIS.
As these are individually hand crafted, there will always be slight differences between pieces. However, please be assured that the photographs are a very good representation of what you will receive
